THE KNITTING GODDESS is located on the Isle of Man, a small island in the middle of the Irish Sea. Specialities include cashmere, cashmere blends, silk and wool. Joy lives and works from a house on the beach, and enjoys the luxury of an ever changing view. Many of the Knitting Goddess colourways are inspired by the sea and sky, while others are derived from views across the island.
Each colourway is hand dyed in small batches, as as colours vary slightly between batches, you can enjoy knowing that, whatever you create using our yarn, it will be unique. |
The cashmere is supplied with a small amount of oil left in it, and will bloom further after washing. This is done so that, if you want to knit socks, you can obtain a tighter, longer wearing finish. Washing in warm water with mild detergent will easily remove the remaining oil. |
